Change Your Life Week 2

Well, I've officially finished half of the  Whole30 plan. I've gotta say, there were a few days during week 2 that were really hard. I was getting really sick of eating meat. I was also really craving random things like soft pretzels, sushi, and tofu. Yes, tofu. :) But I didn't cave and do anything I shouldn't have. I only lost 1 pound this week, which is a little disappointing to me. I feel like my body just doesn't respond to things the way other people's do. I have completely cut out sugar, soda, grains, dairy, and have only been eating totally clean food for two weeks, and I've lost a total of 5 pounds. Frustrating. I need to start exercising more. But I really wanted to see what this 30 days would do on it's on.

I just didn't feel as good this week as I did last.  No weight loss hurt, but even more is that my face that was nice and clear last week is broken out again. That's a big bummer, considering my totally clean diet, and drinking nothing but loads and loads of water every day.

The grocery bill was high again this week.... $84. And I have a feeling we're going to run out of meat. Sigh. I have been getting some good encouragement, though, including an email from Megan  with some great advice, and lots of great encouragement from my twitter and IG friends. Hubs is still truckin along with me, and he's lost 8 lbs. (JERK.)

I cant' believe we are in the start of week 3 already. I am glad to know that at this point, I know I'll finish the 30 days, and I'm excited to start "paleofying" some recipes once I'm allowed to have more things! ;)
